Payments, Payouts and Fees Policy

1. Currency and processor

Prices are shown in United States dollars (USD). Online payments are processed by Paynow, which supports cards and mobile money. Paynow's own terms apply to the payment itself. Roamkin does not store your full card number.

2. What you pay

At checkout there are two options:

• Pay in full (recommended): rental amount, service fee and refundable security deposit, where applicable, are paid online. Nothing is due to the Host at pickup.
• Pay part: the service fee and refundable security deposit, where applicable, are paid online. The rental amount is paid to the Host at pickup.

The total, including each fee, is shown before you confirm. Nothing is charged later without your agreement.

3. Fees

Roamkin charges a service fee on bookings, shown at checkout and in your booking summary. Hosts see how fees and any deductions affect their payout. We do not add new fees to a confirmed booking without your agreement.

4. Host payouts

Payouts of the rental amount, less Roamkin's service fee, are sent to the verified payout account as shown in the app. Hosts must complete identity verification and give accurate payout details. Roamkin may delay a payout while a genuine fraud or dispute review is under way.

5. Refunds and chargebacks

Refunds follow the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Please contact us before raising a chargeback so we can resolve the issue quickly.

6. Failed or duplicate payments

If you are charged but the booking was not created, or you are charged twice, contact support with the Paynow reference. We will correct it or refund you.

7. Taxes

Prices include applicable taxes unless stated. Hosts are responsible for their own tax on earnings.

8. Off-platform payments

Payments for bookings made through Roamkin must be made through the platform (except any amount the booking says is paid at pickup). Off-platform payments are not protected by Roamkin's refund and dispute processes.
